Christ University Bangalore was born with the educational vision From the Saint Kuriakose Elias Chavara, who is the founder of CMI congregation. This person Saint Chavara was a great person, social reformer and educationalist of the 19th century era. He was a highly talented man could see the changes happening in the environment.

So he took an initiative to build a society on brotherhood of humanity of humanity. Christ University is the gateway to the Christ College founded in the year 1969 which was affiliated to Bangalore University. This grew up at a rapid phase in over three decades of its establishment.
